Description

 PowerBelt ELR Bullets feature an optimally tapered shape and caliber for superior long-range performance in any .45 caliber muzzleloader. When paired with a recommended “super-magnum” charge of 140 grains by-volume of Blackhorn propellant, ELR bullets can reach muzzle velocities of up to 2560 fps. The bullet's smaller bore diameter and increased length - compared to .50 caliber bullets - give the ELR a ballistic coefficient of .333. The hollow point cavity of the bullet uses the weight of the core to rise the length, and the super-hard polycarbonate ballistic tip prevents the bullet from expanding too quickly. However, optimal performance can only be achieved with “magnum” or “super-magnum” propellant charges. When using rifles not designed to handle high pressure loads, the max recommended.
