The Sea to Summit Quagmire eVent Gaiters are very durable. Their 1000D Cordura foot section and strong foot strap ensure that they will last for many miles in the roughest terrain. Both the lower section and upper section are waterproof and will protect you from snow, dew, and even help keep water out of your boots on shallow creek crossings. The hook and loop connection at the top of the gaiters allows you to tighten the top around your calf preventing debris from getting inside. Sea to Summit's innovative closure also ensures that the gaiters do not loosen while you are hiking. Many other gaiters have a tension-type lock on the strap that often pops open while hiking. The hook and loop connection offers a fantastic fit and stays put.
